Terms of service
What we provide, what you are responsible for, and how this can end. Written to be readable.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Placeholder document. This is a plain-language outline of intended practice, not a legal document. It has not been reviewed by counsel and must be replaced with a reviewed version before launch. It is listed in PLACEHOLDERS.md.
The agreement
These terms cover use of the Camaze website and platform. For customers, a signed order form or subscription agreement takes precedence over anything here where the two differ.
What we provide
Access to the platform as described in your order form: collection of AI cost and usage data from sources you connect, attribution, budgets and alerts, forecasting, optimization findings, and reporting and export. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep it available and accurate.
Optimization findings and forecasts are analysis, not advice. Figures presented as estimates or as apportioned are labeled as such. You are responsible for decisions you make on the basis of them.
What you are responsible for
- Holding the right to connect the accounts and data sources you connect
- Keeping credentials and account access secure, and telling us promptly if they are compromised
- The accuracy of the org structure mapping and plan data you supply
- Using the service lawfully and not attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer it
Fees
Fees, billing period and term are set out in your order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable for the period already paid. Pricing shown on the pricing page is indicative and the dollar figures there are currently placeholders.
Your data
Your data remains yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy and the security page. We do not use it to train models and we do not sell it. You can export it at any time.
Our intellectual property
The platform, its interface and its underlying methods remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of them to you. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
Availability
We aim for high availability and will give notice of planned maintenance where practical. Specific availability commitments, where offered, are in your order form. The service reads billing data from third-party providers, and the freshness of any figure depends on how quickly the underlying provider publishes it.
Ending the agreement
Either party may decline to renew at the end of a term with the notice set out in the order form. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within 30 days of written notice. On termination, credentials are revoked and data is deleted within 30 days or sooner on request.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect.
